This is an excellent opportunity to work in a well-established international company. Job Summary : The Managed Security Services (MSS) Systems Engineer (SE) position is a complex, technical position requiring a blended set of security and routing skills. The individual will be responsible for configuring Security and Firewall services integrated with other AT&T Managed Services and networks. Responsibilities include Engineering solution review with the customer and other internal organizations that could be impacted, creating router configurations, building customer security policy, and test and turn-up with customer for application testing. The MSS SE must understand the relationship and impacts that the firewalls they build have to the connecting services. The role requires experience of directly engaging with international customers on complicated technical security issues and solving related customer problems. |

Duties and Responsibilities : Seeking a flexible experienced security engineer with strong network security skills. The engineer will join an existing global highly skilled team (members in both US and EMEA), whose mission is enablement of the Managed Security Services (MSS). This position offers interesting and varying work experiences for someone who likes to demonstrate and also develop technical skills. The role may be working on Managed Security Services - Network Based (MSSNB) using Fortinet Firewall & Cisco/Juniper Routers and/or may be working on Premise Based (MSSPB) firewall solutions (e.g. Cisco ASA, Checkpoint on Resilience, Fortinet, Juniper, Blue Coat, MIDS) depending on the needs of the business. The job will require the individual to be flexible with work hours to cover multiple time zones (nights, weekends and possible holidays) in enabling Global customers. Candidate should be a strong team player with excellent communications skills and a self-starter with the ability to complete work with minimal guidance and supervision. The candidate not only needs to be able to follow processes, but also contribute to an environment of continuous improvement. The candidate needs to be a well organized person capable of working successfully on multiple projects at the same time while maintaining the highest level of detailed quality. Experience Required : - Excellent written and spoken English is required 3-5 yrs engineering experience, with at least 2 yrs experience of security solutions. Hands-on experience in Cisco routing including (BGP, RIP, OSPF), Firewall Design & Implementation, MPLS, VPNs (e.g. IPSec), Network Address Translation (NAT). Experience of security products (e.g. Cisco ASA/PIX and/or Checkpoint (Resilience) and/or Fortinet and/or Juniper and/or MIDS and/or Blue Coat and/or Antivirus servers) - Cisco qualifications (e.g. CCNA/CCNP) - Bachelors or Masters Degree - Other languages welcomed but not required |
