Job description: Infrastructure System Analyst will provide support for UNIX/LINUX, Windows servers Storage Area Network. First responder work includes hardware repair, basic System Administrator work, and doing triage and call to work functions for outage. The major job functions include: - Professional solves non-routine problems in server environment. - System level troubleshooting of O/S and hardware issues. - Monitoring Storage Area Network devices. - Perform ticket resolution, including updating and closing. - Performing NetBackup Administration. |

Principle Responsibilities/Duties: - Provide support to the above activities. - Role is working with management personnel collecting data and. - Providing initial analysis - Solving issues mainly in UNIX/LINUX and Window environments, per ticket resolution, including updating and closing. - Monitoring Storage Area Network devices. - Performing NetBackup Administration. - Participate in team meetings and project teams that move the organization to the one organizational model - Interfacing with other team members and knowledge sharing. Required Technical skills - It is mandatory to have expertise in one of the platforms (UNIX, Windows, or Netbackup) - Proficient in issuing system level UNIX/LINUX commands. - Proficient in Windows Server 2008 administration. - Proficient is NetBackup and Tivoli Workload Scheduler - Understanding of Computing Infrastructure: TCP/IP, DNS, SAN and VMware. - Proficient in basic shell scripting. - Proficient in using PuTTy, SSH. - General knowledge of applications and network connectivity. - Ability to run Complex reports from Business Objects and AOTS Ticket System. Desired Background of Candidate: - Desired Certificates – LINUX Administration, MCSE - Language requirements - excellent reading and writing skills. - Education level required – BS or 3-5 years experience in UNIX/LINUX administration or Windows administration Any other relevant information: - Working time: US (2pm – 10:30pm Bratislava time) |
