This is a unique opportunity to start with a company which aims to drive the market worldwide. The Oracle Data Integration Developer will be responsible for ODI (Oracle Data Integration-an ETL tool) development (configuration of ODI tool, configuration of integration with other systems, development of ODI scripts and packages) and some Data Warehouse administration. Other duties may include participation in data warehouse architecture, reporting and dashboarding. - Serve as a subject matter expert for the BI team for the Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) ETL tool, version 11.1+. - Design the detailed ETL architecture, including agents, scenarios, packages, data mappings, data extractions, transformations and validations. - Implement ODI interfaces and scenarios for extracting and loading data from a variety of data sources/targets including Relational Database Management servers (including Oracle RDBMS and SQL Server), flat files (including CSV, Excel, & XML file formats), and web services (SOAP, WS-I Security). - Develop operational process and procedures for monitoring ODI scenarios & agents for production troubleshooting and analysis. - Develop the migration process required to migrate the ODI configuration through various test environments including the final production and contingency environments. - Develop system /integration test plans and scenarios for data loads and extracts. - Provide accurate time and effort estimates for the completion of milestones for data loads and extracts. - Compose functional and regression test scripts for data loads and extracts. - Mentor and transfer ODI technical knowledge and processes to other BI Team members. |

The candidate should meet the following minimum criteria: - 5+ years of Oracle 10g/11g SQL and PL/SQL. - 5+ years experience in ETL process development with large record volumes. - Experience with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) development, Oracle DDL scripting and Oracle PL/SQL packages (DBMS_*, UTL_*) - Strong development experience in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL to write queries, Stored Procedures, Functions, Packages. - Data warehouse design experience. - Data modeling experience (logical and physical) using Sybase PowerDesigner. - Flexible attitude, ability to perform under pressure. - A commitment to quality and a thorough approach to work. - Recognize areas of opportunity and make recommendations for improvement. - Ability to work well as an individual and within a team. - Strong verbal and written English skills. |
