A major and fast expanding international company, operating all over world is looking for qualified candidates to fill the position Desktop Security Administrator. Your responsibilities will be: - Provides Planned and Operational Deployment Services, Windows 7 Desktop Operating System Deployment and Patching, Enterprise Software Package Deployment, Antivirus Client Definition Management, Creation and Execution of automated Deployment tasks and Package deployment testing in a global computing environment consisting of over 80,000 end-user assets - Participates on planning and performance of the deployment of Windows 7 Operating System and predefined software packages including OS patching and latest Antivirus definitions. - Interfaces and coordinates with Client Computing Engineering team, regional GI service delivery teams, Asset Management team and other global infrastructure teams to ensure appropriate procedures are documented and followed. - Ability to recognize and respond to customer expectations with a sense of urgency. - Covers operational activities on day to day basis within Desktop Security team portfolio. - Ensures the Deployment services and testing tasks and activities are completed on-time and with the highest quality. - Ability to empower others to achieve results through motivation, recognition, and performance feedback. - Continually reviews operational performance to determine opportunities for service and cost improvement through the identification and adoption of industry best practices and innovations. - Trains junior team members in the use of industry best practices, established operational methodologies and documented procedures. - Participates in Deployment, Testing and Antivirus Client Management activities within Operating Level Agreements - Ability to cooperate with people of different levels inside / outside the company and to interact with teams to reach goals and business objectives. - Instills customer service attitude and work ethic throughout the team. - Ability to work independently without direct supervision or encouragement. - Participates on the development and maintenance of SOX procedures; ensures team adheres to SOX policies and gathers evidence for SOX audits. - Ability to set and align goals consistent with company objectives and to adapt plans to changing environments. - Adheres to the Company's Ethics standards |

The candidate should meet the following minimum criteria: - University degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems. - Preferably 2-3 years of experience with Antivirus Client Definition Management (Symantec preferably) - Preferably 2-3 years of experience in Software Deployment management (Altiris, SCCM) - Ability to work with a diverse group of people of different skills, backgrounds, departments and management levels. - Excellent communication skills and proficiency in speaking English. |
